Q: Why is Autumn your favorite season?
A: I like the Fall for many reasons. Halloween was reason number 1 for a long time; I love basically anything spooky, scary, and creepy, but I also love the cute side to Halloween, too, don't get me wrong. Another thing I love about Autumn is how perfect the weather is; sweater weather = better weather~ I also love the changing leaves and the grey skies, the warm baked goods, and pumpkin picking~ There's so much to do in Autumn that is very homey and rustic. I love it!
Q: How many OCs and how many adopts do you have/own?
A: This is a good question... I have a LOT, and I mean, a LOT of characters. It's very difficult to pin them down to an exact number, especially when that number continues to grow. Some characters I use more than others, and others I'm still making profiles for and developing.
I do also have a lot of adopts that I find are just sitting around waiting for me to use... I kiiiiiiind of have a problem... Heh heh... But rest assured, even if I haven't fully developed most of them, I still love them all dearly and someday hope to develop each of them in turn. There are actually some I had from a previous account that I haven't used and don't really plan on using, and I'll probably auction them off or just give them away to good homes...
Q: Also, how many characters should one deviant have?
A: Personally, I don't see anything wrong with having a lot of characters, mainly because I have so many myself. I started off as a fanfiction writer, and if there's one thing I absolutely love, it's a well-written, well-rounded, interesting character. I'm also a big fan of character designs that make good use of color and pattern, that are eye-catching, or have a story to them. I don't believe there should be a limit to how many characters one person should or should not have. You can have as many or as few as you like. It's personal choice, really.
Q: What is your favorite color?
A: Orange. My favorites used to be blue and green (they would change every so often depending on what shade of blue or green I would happen upon), but orange has been my recent favorite, and that has a lot to do with the fact that it's the color of pumpkins, as well as it just being a warm and inviting color. Pair it with some shades of brown and yellow and you have a perfect Autumn palette.
Q: What closed species is your favorite?
A: I don't know that many closed species, to be honest, and those I do know are MLP-based. I also haven't been a part of many, but I really liked the lore and designs surrounding the Aurabura closed species. They underwent a recent update, and they're still as cool as ever. Q: What open species is your favorite?
A: Again, I don't know of many, but the one I love the most is the Wildling Unicorns! They're so graceful and sleek, and their lore and species varieties just help to really flesh them out and make them come to life. Q: How many species do you own/co-own?
A: I have a few. I'm in the works on a few different ones that I own, about 5, or 6, I'd say. As for co-owning, there's Candle Wicks, Luminae, Dreamcatchers, Flowercages, and Cottonmouths.
Q: If you had 10 powers, from any anime, what would they be?
A: This is one I had to put aside and really think about for a while. While I do like anime, I haven't really seen much of them to really form a host of powers I'd kill to have. There are so many different powers and I really only know of basic ones, so... This might be one I'll have to return to to edit constantly. Let's see...
1. Flight. Of any sort. With wings, without wings, maybe even flying on a broomstick (or an oar, like Botan from Yu Yu Hakusho). I've always had my head in the clouds, and always wondered what it would be like to fly.
2. Mermaid abilities. I'm lumping these together because it's a whole other classification that all seems to go together. The ability to breathe underwater, speak to sea creatures, and have fins (or tentacles, can we say cecaelia?) when I swim? Yes, please. Sign me up for that. I know that's kind of contradicting to the previous power (who ever heard of a flying mermaid?) but I love the ocean and the sea and all its mystery. Plus, Ariel was my favorite princess for a very long time when I was young. (Though, to be fair, I loved a lot of the princesses, I was a Disney girl, don't judge)
3. Witchcraft. General witchcraft. Witches are fascinating to me. Even if it's complete bullshit or legitimately based on Pagan or Wiccan traditions, rituals, and the like. I would love to be able to mix together different ingredients and cast spells from potions and stuff, candle magic, etc. It's so cool to me.
4. Shapeshifting. So it's a big trope of anime to transform into an animal, so of course, I'd love to run off as a fox or fly like a crow, or swim like a jellyfish... Just so long as I don't get eaten or hit by a plane or something.
5. Make plants grow. I love plants. I'd love to be able to make plants grow nice and healthy, and big, like Kurama from Yu Yu Hakusho. So some of them might have a taste for human flesh, so what? I will take care of my little plant bebes! Feed me, Seymour~
6. Magical Musical Talents. I did do a lot of musical theater in high school, and was once very proud of my voice. My singing talents have kinda withered since then, and I'd love to be able to rekindle that penchant for singing. Or even being able to play an instrument (violin, preferably) so well that I could be a prodigy. And never have to work again. Mwahahahaha!
7. Telekinesis. Being able to bring my coffee cup to my hands without having to actually move would be so convenient... And carrying around my heavy laptop case without having to lift a finger or put strain on myself? Yes. Please. Give it to me.
8. Speaking with the mind. It would be nice to communicate privately with people via mind link, not having to waste the energy to open my mouth and speak, especially if I'm feeling particularly snarky and don't want to directly insult someone, or if I was sick and couldn't speak without losing my voice.
9. Healing. Broken bones? No problem! Cuts? Piece of cake! I wouldn't have to waste money on bandaids ever again! And I could comfort my children and keep them from harm!
10. Instant coffee-or-tea making. That's a power, right??

I made a journal about this before but I'm making another in the hopes someone will notice.
Unfortunately with the New Year came a bit of an unexpected issue as my insurance company charged me twice for my plan. I'm a bit low on cash now thanks to it (actually I was overdrawn by $10 and had to put in a little money to balance it out so I'm now at only $24 in my account...) so I'm redoing this journal in the hopes that maybe I can get some takers for these lovely adoptables I've purchased over the years. I'd love them to go to good homes and it would really help me out a lot to sell them. If anyone is interested, please check out the journal
